Outside of the mental maladies I have...the biggest tangible problem staring me right in my face is figuring out a long-term career. I thought maybe as a group some of us who are looking to recover could possibly leverage each other with ideas and even network.

I don't know if there will be much interest, but just throwing it out there.

Bravo! I am nearing the end of my road but I applaud your idea. I think it's very productive thinking! Are you currently in college or looking to enroll?

Thanks. Haha no, I'm 35 and have bounced around a lot of jobs because of ADHD/OCD issues, and honestly not understanding what it takes to build a successful career. I'm late in the game for sure. I'm looking into UX design possibly or coding but I've heard software engineering is really competitive now. I've looked at bootcamps but I'm wondering if it's a good career to go into.

Software engineering, programming, and coding is a good field to get into. I have a friend who learned coding basics via youtube and got on at a pretty lucrative salary here in Atlanta. I guess it would depend on your location I guess. Sounds like a good idea to me. Go for it!
