Hi guys, I've recently started a substack and I was thinking of things that have been important to me as topics. One of the biggest things I keep coming back to is this forum, and my time spent on it (and off it, in tangential circles). I would like to write a post about my time here and experience, but I'm also wondering if anyone else would like their story shared as well. Instead of messaging people I know at random, I thought a post in here might be better. So, longtime users, if you'd like to share your stories with me and answer some questions, I invite you to reach out. I'll have the post drafted and ready before Christmas ideally, and anonymity is (obviously) guaranteed. I can use pseudonyms or real names (if you choose to share them and want them disclosed). Anything and everything can be negotiated. I'm not a journalist or anything, just a long time user that wants to share the reality of this little slice of the internet. Please reach out to me in private messages if you're interested, or you can reply here and I'll attempt to message you. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this.

I hope the holidays are easier on us all this year. I can already feel the Christmas depression starting to creep up, so I know I'm not the only one.

1) What is your name/What should I refer to you as? Any personal identifiers including gender identity, disability status, whatever you would like to share. (Anonymity is guaranteed if that's what you desire, I'll use any name and information you request me to)

2) How did you end up on the site?

3) How would you consider your time here? In terms of positive/negative impact

4) Do you have any specific stories or impactful memories/moments that stand out to you from using the site?

5) Do you have anything you'd like to share/say that was not addressed in the previous questions?

I'm Hela aka Blueberry Panic. My name is based on my love for Blueberries and to pay respects to strawberry panic whom was the first person to be filmed online taking sn... i thought it seemed appropriate.
I'm a transwoman
I'm 26
I live in Alabama in the US
I have severe quiet BPD , scizoaffective disorder, generalized anxiety , ptsd, bulimia, chronic suicidal ideation and substance abuse and self harm issues.

2) How did you end up on the site?

Looking for resources for suicide , needed help...

3) How would you consider your time here? In terms of positive/negative impact

I love this community, I've met some of the most amazing people on this forum but of course can't exactly make a lot of friends on a suicide forum... most of the people I started with on here aren't here anymore.

4) Do you have any specific stories or impactful memories/moments that stand out to you from using the site?
I'd rather not say ... let's just say I miss a lot of people .

5) Do you have anything you'd like to share/say that was not addressed in the previous questions?

@Dante_ is the best

brain torture. I'm an 18 year old from France

2) How did you end up on the site?

From a discord server about suicide someone told me about this website

3) How would you consider your time here? In terms of positive/negative impact

Positive. This website helps me cope a lot

4) Do you have any specific stories or impactful memories/moments that stand out to you from using the site?

Seeing the people really die. But at the same time I hate that the guides don't have videos or something to help and some methods like SN are really hard to get.

5) Do you have anything you'd like to share/say that was not addressed in the previous questions?

I hope I'll die soon.

Thank you for these replies! And if anyone would like to answer privately, my messages are open and available for everyone. I know public posting might feel a little awkward
