I was happy working that I was working from home, since July 2020, but got laid off this February. Now, I'm supposed to start a temp job Monday, on site, and not looking forward to "reintegrating into society", so to speak...(at least it's a temp job, so if it's a !@#% show, there's an out...figuratively and literally.)

I feel so happy for you @Hindsightis2020 .I hope I can have a job from at home one day. It is not likely but it would be probably way better for me. I am scared now after the covid restrictions are mostly gone I have to be more around people. I am so scared about that. I fear I will collapse.
But I am really happy for you!

I agree it's good working from home although mentally it's probably not the best for me. The downside is that although I mostly work from home now once or twice a week I have to travel to see people/visit other places for work. I've found that since working from home I'm now far more anxious about working anywhere else. Work situations that I used to be able to deal with fairly easily are now much more stressful and I have to fake confidence.
