I'm planning to ctb by jumping from a UK motorway bridge into busy high speed traffic. Is it painful, what's the chances of me surviving?

How high is the bridge? Sounds painful to me, like even if you survive the fall, chances are you will be hit by a car or several cars.

I believe it's around or just under 20 feet, but my thinking was fall head first and then get finished off by the cars, might be painful but possibly quick compared to other things would just need to be lucky and try time it for a HGV

yeah didn't really think about that one. maybe it's not a suitable method then mainly for people I'll be leaving behind

Running over a person (especially a falling person) isn't like running over a cat...you could do serious damage to their car, which could end up leading to an accident where multiple people are injured or die. Do not kill other people just because you want to ctb.

I beseech you; please do not follow through with this method. You will be bringing so much trauma and horror to motorists, passengers, witnesses, including children. It is one thing to CTB, but please do not do so at the expense of others.

Stupid idea. Jumping is the worst way to rope. Why not try SN?

I've now decided against this method that I was originally planning.

I'm happy you decided not to try this method. You could have brought many other persons in danger and even if you didn't survive, it would have been extremely painful.

Why would anyone jump though? Even though u will die, isn't it painful asf? I thought SS users used SN to rope

Have you thought about maybe walking into the local ER and telling them how badly you're feeling. I sometimes find that the type of suicide I'm contemplating reflects how hopeless I'm feeling and this isn't a good idea for a lot of reasons. Please think about talking to a dr x

If I would feel like jumping and were in the UK I'd rather go for beachy head, better view, high enough, no other people get hurt. But thats just me
