Seeing that trump won and i'm part of one of the "risk groups"... I don't think i have a future anymore.

All my life i thought i just wasn't meant to be, that i needed to be sorted out like a mistake... and now there it is.

If i wasn't meant to live, and if my destiny is to be "sacrificed" or suffer for who i am... please tell me ways to make it bearable. I don't wish to die feeling the same fear i felt all my life.

It could be anything to make it bearable. Drugs to become numb, some sort of philosophy i can follow so i can start thinking me dying is a good thing... these sorts of things.

Please, help me. Tell me a way that i can accept my own death like this.

You're overreacting, eh. Or you believed the media propaganda, which demonized trump so blatantly. He ruled for 4 years already, and during very hard covid phase, did he set america on fire? No, actually USA continued its economic growth even during that phase.

Politics is a very sensitive topic, and I don't want to argue, make you upset, or change your views, just to chill for a bit, and see what happens (in reality, don't believe the media blindly).
Living in america isn't that bad, you know what happens to other religion groups or to LGBT people in Africa or Middle east? (I know i may touch a very sensitive topic, but believe me, my aim is not to hurt your feelings. I assumed you are one of the minority groups, like an immigrant/minority religion or LGBT. It's nothing bad or to be ashamed of.
Republicans are hard capitalists, so the country may not be as "parenting" as you would want it to be, but believe me, nothing VERY bad should happen, Trump sometimes says stupid words, but he has an army of people behind him, people from PR etc. He will not act "hot headed" and implement some stupid laws immediately. Believe me.

If it will be still very hard for you, try to find an escape in a healthy hobby, maybe a sport, or reading books. Secondly, i'd try psychotherapy or psychiatrist (but it doesn't look like you got a long lasting depression because you reacted just today and just to the election). Ultimately, you could escape to drugs (I am an addict, but I am heavily depressed for 20+ years) and believe me, drugs are fun for first few months only, later you develop a tolerance and addiction, you spend a lot of money to avoid withdrawal symptoms, they don't give you any kick anymore. They turn your quality of life into a spiral without an end. They make your depression 1000x worse, and permament. You will end up in court, psych wards, and prison. You will want to CTB so badly, yet SI will be stopping you. It will be a living hell.

I know i sound like a pro-lifer, but i am actually a pro-choice. I advice many good methods. But i don't want people's life to be destroyed over something as trivial as one person in politics. 4 years will pass and you won't even realize who was in charge.

I am very sorry if i wrote anything that could hurt anyone's feelings. But i'm also feeling very bad today mentally, and i'm on benzodiazepines now- and they make me disinhibited a bit, and leaned into impulsive behavior.

Best of luck to you, bro

I sure hope that's true. Maybe you're right, that is one... stupid thing to be concerned about. Maybe i have bigger issues i should focus on. Thanks a lot. I'm not even American either

"Is it morally correct to ctb?"

From my perspective, it depends. I used to view it as killing my parent's son. And one time I looked at an old picture of mine, when I was younger, and slightly happier, and said out loud "I might kill you." Yes, it sounds dramatic, but I want to understand the weight of my decisions before I go on to execute them, especially this one. It made me feel like suicide was pretty twisted when you treat it as killing another person, although in this case the person - you - is giving you consent to do so. However, it still wouldn't feel quite right to end another human being, even with consent (idk you might disagree with this). This concludes the act of suicide to be morally wrong.

But is it alright to force someone to be alive, who feels like existence is similar to torture? I wouldn't agree with that either, so I'm in this entire juxtaposed state where killing yourself is wrong, but keeping yourself alive is also wrong. This probably may sound stupid, however I'm simply trying to break down my thoughts into its simplest elements. Ctbing can be a rather neutral action, although it can inflict a lot of struggles upon close ones, if you have them. Inflicting mental pain is wrong too, so that's another "bad thing" with ending yourself. All this varies from situation to situation, and can be neutral or bad—some might say it's positive, but it's a difficult discussion. Or maybe I'm just overcomplicating who knows.

In conclusion: Here's what I believe at the moment: If I were to commit suicide, I'd most likely be too dead to care about if it was right or wrong.

I know this isn't answering your main point, however I thought this was a good chance to put this out there.

Also, if anyone finds any flaws in my way of thinking. I'm pretty fluid in my ideology around these things, so feel free to enter your own thoughts.
