Method Will CTB by slitting the throat work? If not what's the best alternative to it?

Folks, I seek your advice and knowledge regarding this method. Note that I'm researching other methods to CTB and considering other options though.
Also I have not finalized any method yet.

Will slitting the neck guarantee death, at least under an hour, or will it result in me being paralyzed.
Is this method less painful or will it be really painful?, Also, would I choke on my own blood.

If this method is viable, what additional meds / equipment do y'all suggest.
Also, how should I execute this method properly (I.e. if this method is viable).
If this method is not viable / has a low chance of success, what's the closest alternative to this method?

Btw, if this method would result in me being paralyzed, pls suggest alternative methods. I would rather be alive / dead than being paralyzed. Death preferred though.
Also note my CTB planned days is Dec end 2023 Jan end 2024. I will not be living beyond Jan 2024 under any cost.

I would advise against it because there is a high possibility for either causing permanent, non-life-threatening injuries or just dying in a lot of agony. A better method involving the neck would be the carotid choke, which done correctly, can result in a painless, quick death. Otherwise, the least possibly painful method would be SCBA/exit bag. Personally, I will be using SN following Stan's Guide and PPeH. Hope you can find peace from your suffering.

Well, yes if you do it right like a butcher slaughters animals cutting their throats with a sharp knife then it's a pretty quick death.

But I doubt you can do this to yourself. Forget about any slitting, cutting, bleeding, It's painful, cruel and has a very low success rate.

There're way better methods.
