Method Why SN?

When I first entered this forum, I noticed that the vast majority prefer death by SN. Why not cyanide, overdose, or hanging?

I was reading a post by a member that explained how to make "cyanide vapor," and I thought it was a good idea for CTB. In my country, the materials to make cyanide are more expensive, but it makes it less obvious.

I believe cyanide provides a very horrific death. SN was previously much easier to get and there are lots of guides on this forum. As for overdose, it's very unreliable in general, and hanging is brutal and risky. N is much better than SN but it is nearly impossible to get.

Perhaps I didn't do a thorough research, but the post I saw said that CTB with gas was a quick method - it takes only 5 minutes to become unconscious, and there is little to no pain, except for maybe a headache.

However, the only thing that concerns me about CTB with gas is my pets and the people around me. While it's unlikely that anything would happen to them, I can't help but worry about it.

That's a good method. A lot of the methods that people choose entirely depends upon what is available to them, or what they're able to afford. For example, not everyone can afford a Nitrogen SCBA setup, or even Nembutal, if it were still available.

Inert method need clear planning and little technical (saying from experience failed once lol)

Normal exit bag is okay but scba make it more reliable

Because it's a reliable poison that doesn't sound as horrible and risky as many of the other methods. I think that those who are able to access it in this anti-suicide society where it's becoming more and more restricted certainly are very fortunate.

Afaik cyanide kills quickly only if injected directly into the bloodstream or absorbed into soft tissues like biting on a capsule and soaked into the gums. Ingestion will lead to a slow and excruciatingly painful death. I could be wrong though.

ODing on opioids isn't an option for me at least since I have no clue how to get them

Hanging is painless only if you can compress the carotid artery so you can pass out before strangling. Tricky to achieve. Get it wrong and you're in for a VERY slow strangling death.
