Why no one is talking about cyanide?

Yes it's hard to find, but people are not restraining themselfs from talking about things that are hard to get here.

Why is it NEVER mentionned?

Read it's a rather quick death.

Because 1) it is painful, 2) it is illegal everywhere, 3) it is VERY hard to source unless you work for a mining or jewelry making company...

I was watching a few videos the other night of cyanide poisonings and yeah, while it doesn't look like the most pleasant way to go, it does seem to act pretty quickly.

Even if I knew where to get it, or how to get it, I'd probably still end up hanging myself or using the night night method.

The only way I would ever even think of attempting cyanide is with a tremendous dose of both fast-acting and slow-acting sedatives and opioids. It's a horrible way to die.

Edit: I've seen many people talk about it on here. It's just not as common as other more easy to get methods

It is only useful when setting up a workshop and taking your time is not possible. The small glass ampoules it used to be in, you could easily hide in your pen or pocket or anywhere, and use them before anyone has a clue what is going on. Not necessary for the people in here.

Night night is my chosen method as it's peaceful relatively when done right I don't mind a little discomfort but not if it's unnecessary

Yes, that's one of the videos I watched, I had forgotten about this man until recently. Ugh, he just keels over and is struggling to breathe. I'm guessing he went into cardiac arrest shortly after, as seen when the EMS are trying to keep him alive. Of course, I don't know further details on his case.

If I were facing a prison sentence or commitment to the state mental hospital, they wouldn't take me alive either. His face shortly after he swallows the cyanide - it's such a mixture of despondency, and defeat in the sense...there was no other way out for him.

Nembutal is hard to find with only one known source in the world. Cyanide is more like impossible to find with nobody knowing a source.

Hermann Göring used cyanide before he could be hanged at Nuremberg because that's the only suicide method that he could hide in pen. Other Nazis used cyanide but Hitler shot himself in the head before cyanide could kill him. Joseph & Magda Goebbels took cyanide, but had somebody else shoot them in the back of the head as well. Magda gave their kids cyanide, but the kids were already unconscious from morphine injections.

My dad had an official license to poison possums with cyanide paste, and I always considered eating some. He told me ingestion feels like an extremely painful fire inside you. Even though he was a very unempathetic person, he actually felt sorry for the possums because of how torturous it is. He says it can sometimes take up to 30 minutes of agonising pain before a possum dies, and a human could take even longer. He had training and plenty of safety paperwork so I'd take his word for it. While death is very, very highly guaranteed, it's absolutely not a good way to go
