I wondered whether some people responding to this made an implicit link between losing faith in humanity or in people who they'd been close to and wanting to die / end their lives, which got me wondering...
I don't feel like i have faith in humanity, and i question the integrity of what one might term 'blind faith' (i.e. someone espousing that "good will always eventually prevail against evil"). Nevertheless, shallow, weak, or blind faith in humanity may be more prevalent than alot of sucidality, and that leaves me wondering how you guys might go about trying to describe a link between faith in humanity and will, desire, or decision to live or to end your own life.
