I have no clue why your username is not Arcanist. An Arcanist makes porcelain and a Mage is a practitioner of magic btw So a Mage is a lot cooler if you ask me hahaha

I don't have the answer to your exact question about your title, but if it's important to you it can be set to anything you want in your profile. It's under 'account details' as announced here.

Mage and Arcanist, along with the other middle tier forum ranks Elementalist and Wizard are all types of magic users in the fantasy genre.
