Carbon monoxide has both intentionally and unintentionally ended the lives of a large number of humans. Carbon monoxide was (sadly) effectively used during at Nazi German extermination camps. So the reliability of carbon monoxide at the right conditions should be very high.


What are the right conditions for carbon monoxide?
Concentration and how long exposure is needed (time)?

Are these numbers accurate?

By use both charcoal and formic acid & sulphuric acid methods the likelihood of success should be significant. This prevents early abandonment from slow charcoal progress and gives prolonged increased ppm level. By this measure two (time and concentration) of the three success factors are dealt with.

Third factor, its also important to seal the confined space carefully. Car would probably be one of the best (confined spaces easily available for successful ctb) choices for most (out of the listed here).

I don't think people seek attention and fake failure, I do however, think that it's a very likely pro life tactic to fabricate such failures and so I prefer to see studies or real sources... Unfortunately I have to take reports of failure with some methods with a pinch of salt. I might be totally wrong though and there's no way to prove speculation like this either way so its best to stick to the facts.

I think, based on peoples accounts, containing CO is the biggest factor. I think if you follow the 8chan guide exactly, using the chimney burner, popup tent etc, its going to be difficult to screw that up. Making sure a car isn't ventilated is much more complicated. I think 99% of reported failures are likely due to the execution in some way, either sealing, incorrect quantity of charcoal, not getting a good enough light on the coals. Its a relatively complicated method so its understandable, just make sure you're one of the people who is more careful and rigorous, I have faith in myself to be in the successful 70-80%

If you get the CO concentration high enough there's no denying that its a perfect peaceful method, if anyone tries to sent that then they're probably wrong.

Also yes, 30 mins is fine for the COgen because death will occur in minutes at 10000ppm.
