I can't stop thinking about this, about the fact there is NO real reason for me to be alive. I'm not going to be a saviour of the humanity, not a worker, a 9-5 slave. What is the point then? Playing games and getting lost in my addictions? Finding a girl that won't ever make me truly happy?

Chill friend, we will all die whether now or at 70 years.

Nothing matters is a GOOD thing, we are just animals living on the planet by chance, nothing more nothing less.

A cat or bear or dog doesnt care why it exists or how it exists, it just eats, sleeps,mates, plays and dies.

There is no importance other than what people prescribe to things but those are just human made constructs.

You are not MEANT for anything except being alive and even that too will end for us all.

There is no point to living, life is just suffering for the sake of it. All that humans do is just distract themselves until they die, our only true purpose is to die. It is all very pointless. Life is very unnecessary, and I believe that life should not have been a thing in the first place. Every day I think about how meaningless life is. I just wish that it was easier to leave this world, to me it is wrong to try and force others to live when we will all die eventually anyway.
I think that I am glad that I have no hope personally, and that quote is very true. All that hope does is just lead to more suffering.

Yes the odds of being born are like 1 in billions factoring everything into account that lead to you or me being born.

Many of us do not enjoy things and would rather not suffer for an additional 70 years. All of the women in my family live into their late 90s, I ain't trying to suffer for that long

This is the part that keeps me biding my time. My husband and my mom both feel that anyone that chooses to take their own life is being selfish - because of what it does to thoses they leave behind. We our choosing to end our own pain at the price of theirs.

It's the exact dilemma I've often found myself in.

Logically, suicide is a selfish act. But equally, others expecting you to continue living in pain is also selfish. That's why it's such a morally grey issue. There are no winners, and there is no right answer.
