It seems that alongside every method discussed on this forum, somehow diazepam (Valium) ends up coming up in the discussion. Given how many benzos there are how how easily they are all available: What makes diazepam so attractive to people like us? I've done a fair share of vals at parties and I quite enjoy them, but I know people who do alprazolam (Xanax) and seem to describe similar feelings at least recreationally. Is there any benefit to using vals over something like xanax while trying to cbt?

It's easier getting valium from a doctor than something like xanax. The doctors benzo choice is usually valium when trying to have it prescribed. You can access all benzos if you know your way around the DW, but for those having to try source from a doctor, it's usually valium that the Doctor will recommend.
