I was thinking about using it in a car, just drive to some secluded place and be done with it.

Either some deep forest, although still risky and uncomfortable a bit, or check into the hotel for three nights (Friday-Monday) and CTB the second night (Saturday in this example). In this case, a good chance is that one is not found by Monday noon, which gives some 36 hours - more than enough.

I agree, almost all failed SN attempts are because people get found.

there was a case like this notified in the country i live.

but I've seen a thread, can't find it now, where someone was caught while in it. guess the place needs to be 100% safe.

stupid question cause I never went to a hotel before.

do we have to pay when we check in? i can only afford one night.

Car sounds good (I don't have one though) and also the woods but hard to imagine doing it in the winter there.

You do but I don't see why one night wouldn't be enough. You can usually checkin at 3:00 in the afternoon and don't have to be out until 11:00 the next morning. Seems like ample time to me.

You may have to lay down a security deposit of about 2x the cost of the hotel stay on your debit or credit card. You can pay later or pay upfront, depends on the hotel. Most hotel chains accept paying later when you check out.

Oh no, I'd be scared someone would find me and 'take advantage' of me when I'm too weak to fight them off. But then again, I'm sure if I vomit all over them, that'd soon put them off! :pfff:

Seriously though, I'd be too spooked to ctb in middle of a forest or wood, and my anxiety would be sky high as it is. Nice, posh hotel sounds like a much better way to go.

Knowing my luck some foxes would come over, and have a nibble.

Your only options are a secluded spot within nature, or a hotel. I would go with the latter personally, another important detail is the time you do it at.

Not being directly asked, but I'm going for late evening, between 10 pm and midnight, most likely the midnight - it fits my plan based on the Stan's guide.

Yeah if you have a car and can get out to a secluded rural spot that's probably the best option in my opinion.

I mean the more I think about it don't you just need like a half hour when no one else is in at home (from a noise perspective anyway)? Harder to plan of course and maybe not ideal but I dunno.

Probably need a couple of hours to be on the safe side.

You're probably right. I live in a halfway house though so it almost never happens that everyone's out. You can lock your door from the inside though.

I'm wondering if this is a bad idea since the last person who tried it that way was found by a security guard (as they claimed), cars are more conspicuous than we realize and in this day and age, people are always watching where we are going, even if they don't have eyes on the location we end up in..they may for the parts of the drive to get there, anything suspicious can lead to being found prematurely.

There is a lake at the end of a village near my city, it is in the middle of nowhere. First houses are about a kilometer away from the lake. It's getting very cold here and I doubt that people hang around that lake in the evenings. Nobody would come check on me, I am certain.

I'm assuming at least 10 hrs from the point of ingest is enough? Anywhere where you have that amount of time before being found.
