Discussion Where can one CTB? I don't want to traumatize anyone.

I'm just curious where yall have decided or thought about where you're going to CTB.

I live with my sister and couldn't do that to her. She's done so much for me, and her finding me inside her house would be the ultimate slap in the face. She also struggles mentally and that wouldn't be fair.

The only thing I can think of is my car or a local park that is pretty large. The park has lots of trails that go deep into the woods. I bet only a few people a week go down the deepest trails in that park.

I've also thought about somehow doing it and then calling the police right before so they can find my body, but I'm not sure.

But yeah, where have yall thought about doing it?

Depending on your method, calling the police is probably the best way to fail your attempt. The park seems like your best option. Do it at night when passers-by are even fewer.

I suppose it depends on the method. I think deep in a large park is a good idea. I have considered that. I like the idea of leaving in nature.

The method I consider the most atm is bridge jumping over water. My hope is that I'd be swept away and not found for a while. I wouldn't want to be found by someone close to me, just to save them from the experience. Ideally I'd like to be swept away into the ocean, where being found would be even less likely.

I definitely plan on doing it somewhere outdoors. I've heard some stories about dead bodies/biological matter being really hard to clean from the interiors of houses, and I just don't really want to do that to the trauma cleaners and whoever owns my place of residence.
