It's actually creepy how programmed some people sound when hearing new niche ideas.

Funny today at my therapists we were talking about how I feel like we are in a simulation like in Matrix

I remembered when I was in high school and was overstimulated by my traumas that I overshared everything I was watching and was deeply into conspiracy theories despite not truly caring about them and becoming crazy when it happened years later with transvestigations that I was called dumb for even caring about that stuff or told that its not possible or transphobic without any actual evidence (I am not btw) just for caring too deeply about stuff with an actual narrative of... I don't know the world being governed by evil men who want to destroy our lives, anti never made sense to me why people hated me just for spewing this stuff and re-enforcing these ideas that existed underground yet if they cared about it, they would make people fixate on it, but the fact of the matter is, they want us to be the ones who are crazy because if not then, we are isolated with the fact that we are deeply aware how bad this world is, and if not, we are just as programmed by how bad this world is to equally do enough damage while we lie in a hidden agenda ruled by people who aren't aware how fake they are and judge people like its no ones business...

Lol, couldn't be me.

It's a near perfect description of the world we live in. How brainwashed the average person is. No self-awareness no curiosity no pattern recognition or critical thinking skills just consume the narrative that is fed to you just shut up and do what you're told…

"Yeah we live our lives as long as humanly possible because dying is the worst thing ever obviously right?!? while paying taxes and obeying laws and you get married because your parents did so you have to and then you have kids unless you're selfish?!? and then push them to believe the same thing you do and go school and believe in this religion and do what we say because we are older and so know more than you ok OK alright?!? Good welcome to life it's so awesome right!!! What do you mean no?!? Wtf is wrong with you!!!"

The only way not to lose is to sign out… just stop playing their game. It was rigged before any of is were born.

So true. I hooked up with a guy not to long ago who is a Paramedic and I told him about my bad brain injury and how it effects me and he still couldnt understand how I cant work. It was at that moment I realized even normal people without tbis can be just as dumb..

I actually agree, it is very disturbing how aggressive most people are towards suicide and suicidal thoughts, even if they have previously had them. People just don't want to hear anything positive about suicide, only anti suicide platitudes to make everything "happy" again. So yes, it is creepy, as if they are temporarily possessed to ensure they're incapable of rational thought.

Lol, what did the therapist say? I told my psychiatrist that I feel like my thoughts come from somewhere outside me and I just experience them but cannot control them. I don't know how they interpreted that.

Suicide: permanent solution to permanent problems

You shouldn't expect profound responses from the people of LCD (lowest common denominator). I've made it a golden rule to never discuss suicide outside of sansui and the internet.

Philosophically, most people are blinded by the will to life and it clouds all their opinions, judgements, thinking etc. being suicidal is like snapping out of that and seeing things for how they are. Obviously, the people blinded by the will to life will also expect you to be like them. It's like crabs in a bucket it's some sort of shared delusion.

There's a fundamental disconnect from the mind of a suicidal person and the mind of your average joe. There's not much mutual understanding they're like in totally different states of mind.

I'm pro choice and I think denying someone the right to suicide is inhumane.

Exactly though I watched the matrix and didn't realise that agent smith entering any body meant this. However, now I understand and it's so true because the majority of people have been programmed by various indoctrination during childhood to believe that suicide is wrong and tragic no matter what. Even most people here see suicide as a tragedy but I never got that agent smith programming as I don't really see suicide to be tragic (unless if they were to fail the attempt of course in which case that is tragic). These people say the same things and act in the same way when it comes to suicide. They're unable to give any valid counterarguments as to why suicide is a bad thing.

It especially baffles me to see those who have been previously suicidal say pro life shit just like everybody else. The impression I get from this is that the matrix metaphor works extremely well as, due to the pro life indoctrination that occurred during childhood, these people consider their suicidal thoughts to be a bad thing. Whenever I see a debate of somebody online arguing about the legalisation of euthanasia, the opponents of this tend to be previously suicidal people who are arguing against euthanasia because, in a way, they're trying to reaffirm to themselves that the matrix programming is correct since these people haven't got rid of their indoctrination yet.

Wtf don't these idiots understand about that we are all going to die anyway. So what is it to a stranger if I want to exit this hell now instead of prolonging my suffering and then die in nursing home later anyway . Why care about that ?

I feel like telling them look in the mirror that bag of cells is temporary. In 100 years that body will be rotting with worms half eating all of it . All of us have that same fate . We all will die.

What's sad is suffering unbearable pain every second for decades. That can only be happen to te living .its not sad that I will be not existing where I can never feel any pain and nothing matters to me

People's responses on this matter are generally predetermined. Nothing you can possibly say is going to elicit any response beyond "tell them to be strong and keep moving" or "call the police." Not because we live in a deterministic or predestined universe, or the matrix, but because people are generally intellectually lazy, incurious, or biased, or their paycheck depends on them being intellectually lazy, incurious, or biased.

Criminal profilers don't care about the details, complexity, or lived realities of your life. They're just rotely filing everything you say in the most appropriate mental box to come to a conclusion that's institutionally satisfying. The same way police interrogators say that they're on your side and they just want to help you, but everything they say is intended to drive you into making a statement resembling a confession or calling your lawyer. You can observe those same behavioral patterns in everyone when it comes to hot button and sensitive topics. I can even observe it in myself.

That's why it's futile to share your feelings on this matter unless there's a part of you that truly wants to live, and wants help.
