I think it's time for the Western world to unite and fight against the horrors of Islamofascism and jihadism. Islamization must stop before the norm becomes Sharia law, mandatory hijab and beheadings in the name of Allah. The war on terror must continue.

The US still has a couple bases in Iraq. (They have Iran covered on both sides ala Afghanistan) and could probably just install some sort of missile defense or some something
It also seems that the US does not learn too well from history because the Korean war never officially ended just a cease-fire armistice, and we still have bases in Italy, Germany, Japan, Kore Iraq, the Pacific islands, Kuwait, etc. it seems like the US never really leaves these countries once the war is over… also the Vietnam war, Korean war (see above), Iraq war and war in Afghanistan didn't seem extremely successful
Also, the US has been trying to foster regime change inside of Iran since probably the 1980s. It is extremely mountainous country and larger than Afghanistan and Iraq with a very fierce population. The problem may not be so much defeating the government, but more so holding the country and trying to settle it - see invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan
Also, Iran is not going to launch a nuclear weapon. I would be much more concerned about them, selling it, or giving it away to a terrorist organization, but even that as soon as the world found out that they were behind it, it would end very badly for them…
