Beta blockers 2 or 3 hours before sounds good, gives them enough time to kick in.

Benzos might not take full effect in such a short time as 20min. I'd break up my benzo dose, depending on how much I had. I'd take a small dose 5 or 6 hours before, maybe 1 or 2 mg. Just to loosin' you up. Then I'd take a bigger dose 1 hour before taking SN, upwards of 10mg. 1 hour gives sufficient time for the benzos to kick in. Then I'd take take the rest of my benzos in with my SN. For good measure.

The elimination half life for propanolol is 4-5 hours, so it maybe reach its peak 2 hours after ingestion.

And for benzos it's recommended not to take a big dose very soon because it could send you to sleep. You can take a low dose (0.25mg alprazolam or 0.5mg lorazepam) 2-3 hours before SN to calm your nerves and a bigger one close to the SN drink (15 minutes) to help you to fall sleep during methemoglobinemia process.

This is just my opinion, I don't have any medical knowledge.
Thanks for the explanation :halo:

Yes I suppose it won't hurt to move them earlier to get the full effects although they start to work after 30 minutes.

Do you have experience taking diazepam? If not, I suggest testing it first. I learned from testing that it takes 20 minutes to start feeling the effects, an hour for it to really kick in, and it gets stronger for the next hour or two after that.

Yes I used them before but I was wondering about the Propranolol as they make you tired as well I have never used them before but I will just have to remain awake for 105 minutes.

If one doesn't have access to antacids, can baking soda work?

I have used baking soda for acid reflux and indigestion when I woke up at night and couldn't get anything else, it worked but you can get some cheap antacid online from e-bay and amazon or OTC, I know a lot of people have used milk of magnesia and have been successful.

I bought OTC antacid Maalox. It contains magnesium hydroxide. Maybe it is OTC where you live too?
