Hello everyone!
I've been thinking about this topic for a long time and i want to hear your opinions.
I assume most of us agree that cbt shouldn't be the first thing and that you should seek ways to cope and live.
So my question is when do you exhaust all your options?
People say therapy may take years to be effective, some say antidepressants and other drugs will help but you must stick with them for a while and it may take long time and multiple trials and stepping up into second, third and fourth line of treatments but in the end it helped them.
Some will say travelling or doing a hobby or adrenaline rushing sports or leaving your town or home or finding love etc.. you get the point.
I know it's different for everyone. Therapy will help some and drugs may others.
But how much should really be seeking and trying tho?
When do you say truthfully I've tried everything? Is it even possible?
When do you exhaust all your options?
