No way to know how much was used and possibly the boy eat a portion which had a more concentrated portion than the others. No specifics either , did the others vomit and possibly he did not or did he partially vomit . The story is vague or intentionally vague. Did the teacher know that a small dose would make them sick and not kill and he could blame the other teacher ? Kinda makes you wonder about buying Chinese SN .

It probably wasn't high enough b/c the kids would taste the porridge and say "it's too salty, I'm not eating it". I'm honestly surprised any of the kids ate it. But we don't know if murder was the intent of the person who was apparently trying to frame another teacher. Maybe he just meant to harm the kids but not KILL THEM. Only too bad for this one kid - maybe he ate extra bowls of it.. or was weak in some other way that it was enough to mess him up. Maybe they got to him last and by then he was too far gone. The fact that he's on a life-support machine though means he can't breath on his own, which basically means he's dead and they are just keeping him alive.. plus they said he's brain dead as well.. soo he's dead dead. Very sad.

a) A child's body is much different from an adult's. So the physiology worked differently with the poor child.
