What's your "thing"?

I'm curious about what you all are into! What's your favorite interest or thing to do?

Mine's dogsledding! Even though I live in a place that doesn't really offer that possibility. I've excessively researched, read and watched races, movies and documentaries about it.
My biggest dream would be to participate in the Iditarod race (basically an annual very long-distance sled dog race) someday. Perhaps a stupid thing to dream of, considering my state, but it's a dream nevertheless.

I always wanted to do the Plymouth to Dakar rally in a 100 quid Saab.
Oh well. I content myself with pottering about the garden and scavenging plants and materials.
Reading back, I think I'm a bit of a cheapskate!

I guess my thing is making playlists, haha. I'm not very musically inclined, but in another life I probably would have enjoyed pursuing music.

My "thing" has changed over the years and when I was a teenager I had a fascination with dog sports and protection training like KNPV. I had a pen pal who trained Malinois for protection work and bomb detection.

Fast forward several years and I'm currently into fashion and design. I'd like to pursue a career of sorts in the field and make my own pieces on day! I love building my closet up with designer dresses and that's where all my money is going lol

Coin collecting (the UK has tons of special edition coins like Olympic ones, coins designed like children's books...): this hobby has slowed down over the years as I mostly find duplicates now and contactless payments are much more frequent.

Day to day I love Disney and it's theme parks. I did a Disney quiz on zoom the other day and came 13th out of 78 people :)
