Discussion What's the point in playing this game called 'life'?

In my current state of mind I dont see the point of life or in the very existence for that matter.
As long as i am in this body I am slave to it. Desires, pain, sorrow , happiness drive me.
I don't want to be the part of this game. I am feeling utterly neutral.
You feel horny , you have sex , you cum , it is over and then the circle repeats. Same for having good food, gadgets etc.
Only thing that troubles me a bit whether my consciousnesses will be lost once I am gone.
Or will I be just an observer? Or will there be any entity who will govern me and send me back in to reincarnation cycle?
I am neither sad nor happy at the moment.
Sorry if i didnt make sense!
I always felt that life didnt make sense.

Well the short answer from what I've gathered over the years with philosophy is that there is no point besides what you make of it. Of course it's easier said than done. Bottom line is that life is meaningless and the activities you will do in life is just as pointless. It's really up to the individual on how he/she views this pointless life and if they want to live it. All we have is ourselves. Yes it's overwhelming and perhaps scary but what can you do? Suicide is literally the only philosophical question on why one should or shouldn't keep going. It all boils down to you. That's why I love the thought of suicide because it's about the control I never got to express whatsoever in this life and it's entirely up to me to choose.

Surviving comes naturally to all living beings. Questioning ones own purpose in my experience just lead to nihilism. Most people carry on simply because it's in their dna to do so.

Suicide is dark, unpleasant and unnatural when you get down to it.

Kind of hard to pinpoint any purpose in life (beyond surviving/reproducing) when there seems to be no rhyme or reason why it's here in the first place.

There is no point. We are products of unintelligent design perpetuated by nature. We are a fluke. Life is a tragic and brutal imposition wether you are a human another animal. All this suffering yet people keep feeding the machine by creating more life.

Nothing is wrong with you it's society that is wrong. Stop beating yourself up for feeling vulnerable. Like I said all you have is yourself and sooner or later you are gonna stop giving a fuck about what society thinks a person's self worth is. Lifers may say you owe society but what has society done to owe you? Nothing. You see you are letting society nitpick at how you actually see things. Don't. Live and die on your own terms however brief. It's all a pointless game and you'll lose everything regardless but it's up to you on what you want to do with that knowledge. I understand where you are coming from. If you believe that life is not worth living then so be it. I believe it too. Don't let anyone tell you how you should feel.

Well thats the very problem, because neither happiness or satisfaction will remain constant.
With happiness comes sorrow , with satisfaction comes dissatisfaction. That pursuit of happiness or satisfaction is life or game.

I will just say that life has a point if you are into some sort of religion/teaching, as what you do in life usually affect what comes "next". Otherwise life is pretty pointless. There is no end goal.
