What will you throw away before you ctb

for me of course I will throw away something that leave some trails of me that most likely to be investigated after I ctb, like my phone, I will sign out of all my email and hard reset it before that

Maybe your answer could be different than mine and maybe it could give me an insight of what other things I must throw away

I will probably destroy my computer and wipe data off my phone. Also I'll throw away my writings that I don't want anyone to see.

Definitely wipe internet history. I alredy burned years of journals. It was all self serving crap anyway. And I will wipe a manuscript Ive been writing too. Its best to leave behind no traces of your personal thoughts. i am leaving a short note on my device for my husband to read so my family can have some closure.

I have given away almost all of clothes to charity allready. Also donating blood and hopefully donate organs. (Have to double-check that one more time, since it might not be possible using SN) My writings notebooks. Vipe computer. Phone. Everything. Leaving a note! I think! 🕊️

Hey, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you will not be able to donate your organs after CTBing via SN. Doctors may be able to collect things like skin, bone, even heart valves and other biological material that could prove useful in surgeries (assuming that it hasn't been anoxic for toooo long, but even that's a stretch).
Organs? Completely out of the question. The timeframe for preservation would have been gone long before your body is found.

Yess, i think I unfortunately read it somewhere also. But i wasn't quite sure! Thanks for reminding me. So Def NO organs then! It's a shame.💔 But YESS what can you do. What about hair? Would that work?

Absolutely. You can donate your hair, blood, a kidney, a portion of your liver (which will regrow!), and then there are some rarer donations you can inquire about (like a lung or a portion of your intestine), but stuff like that significantly less likely to receive approval.

I forgot to add, but:
a) I commend you for being so thoughtful and considerate, even while you are in the midst of suffering.
b) The requirements and protocol you have to go through to be approved and then transferred to a transplant facility are onerous, to say the least. You'll have to complete various screenings - including a mental health evaluation! On the bright side, you receive financial compensation and they pay for all expenses IIRC.

Hmm okay, I'm but what country do you live in? I live in Europe. I don't think it's that much paperwork here. But maybe it has changed. I need to search that up! To be sure. Thanks

Oof! Europe exists, yes... let's chalk that up to the typical American blind spot bias. Well, the information regarding what's donatable is going to be the same since human anatomy and physiology is a constant. As for the extent of bureaucratic tape, you will have to investigate that for yourself of course. I have no doubt you'll be remunerated all the same, though. :)

Looking from replies, I have added another things to consider in conclusion

so, I will gather my personal vent/feelings writing or journal, then throw or burn them

Maybe I will throw away my sketchbook too

It's been a very long time I haven't pick up those stuff, so I don't know if I still have them or they're already thrown away before

Maybe i'd also throwing away some of my comfort stuff too,
if I remember there's any that I would consider one of it..

Yes

Now this I will think of too, in case of failed attempt, I won't completely destroy my phone or other electronic devices, maybe I will hide my phone somewhere people won't know, I've been thinking of the spot

My laptop, phone and my large storage device is encrypted.
All of my online accounts are secured with a password manager.
My SIM card has a PIN too.

I don't really need to do anything other than ensure every device of mine is powered off to secure them before I leave.
If I go through with it, there is very little anyone can do to recover anything of mine. (they can pry my passwords from my cold dead... brain?)
If I don't, all my stuff is still as it were ready to go. I don't have to set everything up again or deal with lost data since I don't have to factory reset anything.

They might be able to seize some of my online accounts if they somehow transfer ownership of my phone number when I'm dead but there is almost no chance that'd happen.
BUT it is all completely overkill, because no one gives a shit about what I'm doing. I don't have anything particularly critical that I need to hide either.
It gives me peace of mind though at least.
And my SaSu account is pretty safe from getting taken over by anyone like investigators or family that's for sure.
