What was your favorite thing in life?

Years ago I was watching the movie City of Angels with Meg Ryan and N. Cage. When the angel was dying, she was asking him when the other angels will ask him what was his favorite thing in the world he left behind, he gently answered : You.
This question set me on an introspection road. Now, I take it further: who was your favorite person? And what was your favorite THING? And least favorite thing about life?

My favorite things were colors, and foods. I love all colors, strong hues especially. And the variety of flavors and aromas of food! The breeze of the ocean too.

My least favorite things: other people and interacting with them. (except my mom and the person I loved).

I used to love doing stuff with computers. Fixing them, websites, making simple programs, games..

Used to enjoy swimming and martial arts, reading, teaching myself things. Just being alive was ok

Romantic love and sex are the most interesting things because it is difficult (impossible) to have more strong emotions from other things. And you can discover so much about others, yourself, world in this way... So I consider all other things much more boring.

After this it is art, for the beauty and emotions (I like colors too and I'm an artist and very creative).
Knowledge for an impression of smth infinite.
Ocean or sea too for the impression of freedom.
Roller (in line skating), also for the impression of freedom...

But all of this is gone because of my chronic illness....

Romantic love has been my reason of being all my life. Unfortunately, it is also one of the main causes that got here : broken beyond repair, looking for a way out.

I used to read every single book I got my hands on. When I was a kid, reading was my escapism. At one point, I used to read 3 books at once- one in my mother's car, one in my father's and one at home. I was very lonely and other kids were scary, so I'd just spend my time reading...I miss it, I really do.. Now I don't have the time nor energy. I've tried reading and my brain just doesn't absorb whatever I'm reading, I have to read it like 3-4 times, which is insane.

I don't have a favourite person. As for what I liked about this world, I liked various works of fiction which allowed me to lose myself in those worlds and forget about my problems. i also liked falling in love with various fictional characters. I also liked making art by drawing, painting, knitting and crocheting.
However the things I dislike prevail in the end: the bullies and cruelty that goes on is too much to pay for those good things in life.

my last favourite person who was in my life was my first ex. i havent loved anyone even close to how i loved her ever since. i do have a 'favourite person' in terms of bpd, someone im obsessed with, but since her theyve always been people who don't know i exist, like online 'celebrities' for lack of a better word. nothing meaningful. at the moment it's jerma985 lol. i dont think ill ever have a favourite person in that way ever again.

favourite thing: nature. everything about nature and wildlife has always felt like home for me. one thing thats kept me here for so long is the worry that i will never be able to experience being in nature once im gone. theres no expectations, no judgement, no responsibilities in nature. everything just is what it is and nothing has to be what it isnt.

least favourite thing: humans. this species is a plague on this planet. everything bad happens because humans exist. everytime i see concrete and buildings and cars i just want to cry because of how disgusting and destructing everything humans have done is.

Music, and singing and acting and just being creative on stage. I've grown up and realized those opportunities are over for me and I was never good in the first place. My favorite people have one by one left my life or made it unbearable, so I try to spend as much time with animals as I can. There are plenty of things I still find enjoyment in but it's all fleeting - coffee and movies and museums etc.

i love my bf. so much. he is the best person i have ever met, so sweet and yet so cool.
when it comes to things, then it is definitely music and videogames. i loved them so much as a kind, maybe not so much now, but those things will always be a nice memory.

Feels kind of mean to say because I deeply love/ loved all my family members but my Nana was probably my favourite. I have lots of magical memories with her. She had the unfair advantage though because we got to do all the fun stuff together. The rest of my family had the task of bringing me up. So I OWE them far more. My Grandparents in particular gave up their golden years to raise me (because my Mum died.)

Eating would probably be my favourite thing, followed closely by nature.

I loathe cleaning and just about all things domestic.

i couldnt pick a favourite species, i love them all in different ways if that makes sense. i do have a soft spot for bumble bees tho, p much any insect fills me with such childish joy when i see them lol. favourite place would have to be deep in a forest next to a rushing river. i love the way tall trees make it feel dark and gloomy even during the day, and the sound of running water just fills my mind with calm. do you have a favourite place or species?

i sort of hope reincarnation exists too, but if it's tied with karma then maybe not lol. id love to be part of nature, but hundreds of thousands of years ago before humans had an affect on it.

Part of me really loves school.

Currently a post secondary health sciences student and I love it. Everything about science feels so logical. I hated sciences/math when I wad in secondary school but I've really fallen in love with it as an adult.

Also, music. Probably the most consistent thing in my life has been my love of music. The only thing I know for certain is that when I die I want music to be playing. It's calming, it makes me happy.
