If you want a trustworthy free VPN, I suggest Proton VPN. They respect your privacy and recommended by privacy experts. There are plenty of limitations, one of which is torrenting pirated materials; the free version won't protect you from that. The free version is also slow.

The premium version is relatively expensive, but has more perks including the aformentioned pirating activities.

Most of those "free" vpns especially apps are created by shady companies and are not trustworthy. ProtonVPN is probably the only exception.

However, it was a long time since I lastly bought one (I always bought ExpressVPN because of their speeds) but currently I'm using a self-hosted ones on a server which I bought with fake credentials and BTC (paying 14$ year for a 2core server with 128mb RAM and 10gb storeage) and I often install there an VPN server script which supports WireGuard (wiki link) VPN connection protocol that prevents the VPN from leaking your IP address.

Why useless? Well, there is a saying among people who work extensively with computers... "Don't trust it unless you host it"

But I saw that coming. They already overdid this with their Advertisements on channels like LinusTechTips with claims like "hide your surf activity", "protect yourself from hackers while using public WiFi" etc.
Those are such BS claims since if someone's on the same network as you, they can still see what you're doing with WireShark or other network sniffing tools (more info -> wiki)

What indexes are you using or are you using jackett? I have torrentleech and ipt invites if you're stuck using jackett. I might have a ptp invite for movies as well. What's your plex look like?
