What to do with all my money/belongings after I CTB?

I have been saving up money for the past year or so. I have had no idea what to do with it, I was gonna put it into my car, but I lost interest in that. And now I'm at a loss as to what I'm going to do with it before I die. I cashed it out of the bank and put it in a locked container for now. I'm seriously considering just throwing it in a river or something, I really don't want anyone to reap anything out of my CTB(probably a bit paranoid I know). Maybe I should just leave it in the bank? For my belongings I was gonna have them go to good will, but as with my money I don't want to just give it away. Any ideas?

I would suggest spending it on food, travel, or other experiences before ctb. Not material items cos its just more stuff to deal with, but if you're going to ctb just use it to make yourself comfortable or fun stuff before you exit.

Do you suffer from any illnesses/disorders? Donate the money for research onto better treatments for those.

If I have money saved up when I go, that's where I would want my money to go.

I agree with @GHOST99 here, since after you CTB, there is no use for money anymore, any debt you have under your name (unless someone also co-signed the loan with you) will no longer matter. In fact, nothing matters (whether positive or negative consequences) once you are gone from this world because you wouldn't be there to experience it. For some fun stuff, I'd go for things that you enjoy, whether it would be like going to enjoy some expensive food, drugs (if you are into those, I'm not), hookers and escorts (where it is legal; but be careful), and other vices.

If you enjoy anything why would you want to Ctb though?......I don't understand this.......If I go it's because I find next to no pleasure from anything in life anymore

I know you said you don't want anybody to benefit from your death, but personally, I'd leave it in the bank with my best friend is the beneficiary in case I die. That way it would still be mine if I lived and go to him if I didn't. But if you don't have a beneficiary, I don't think anybody would get it.

When my mom died as soon as Social Security found out they froze her bank account and mine too. She was over my money because I'm bipolar and I caught hell straightening that out. She was on disability too so I'm not sure how things would work in the normal scheme of things but just to be safe I'm spending everything I have to the last penny. Why not, it's not like I'll need it.

Don't feel bad, I've had the lake idea myself. Not just with money, but anything I have of value. I would say I'd donate the money but there's not much to donate except a few almost maxed out credit cards. As far as selfish...a lot of people call suicide selfish, might as well live up to the hype.

I'll give mine to someone in need. I'll never leave it in a bank and I don't trust companies like red cross, etc.

I would definitely leave the majority of what I have to my family (parents). Make sure to stipulate that my animals are taken care of and set aside a certain amount for that. Leave some to my boyfriend and possibly to a few very close friends. Donate anything else to local animal shelters. I would set aside a certain amount to have as much fun as possible the week leading up to ctb - eat all of my favorite things, visit some favorite places, try some new things if possible. I don't think trying to enjoy yourself as much as is possible prior to something you're looking forward to doing is a bad thing at all - just because you want to ctb doesn't mean there aren't things in life that make you happy or give you joy, they just aren't enough.

People shouldn't be forced into an unwanted and unbearable existence. This place attracts hostility and aggression from pro-lifers. The admins have given us so much for free, we should give them back.
