what scares me most about my method, full suspension hanging in a forest:

• going into a forest alone at dark in Australia
• my anchor point on a tree breaking due to my weight
• not even being able to find a suitable tree in the first place
• not being competent enough to even tie the proper knots

how about you guys?

The knot coming undone or being found somehow and cut down, resulting in permanent paralysis. This is why I would prefer to have a gun.

The only reason I pick partial is because it's easier than most methods and most importantly, readily available. But it's not foolproof.

I'm scared that I won't shoot at the right angle and that I'll survive the gunshot and live the rest of my life as a vegetable with no way out

Panic attack while trying and or dying. have you ever done drugs, and have extreme time dilation? That's one of my greatest fears about death in general. Time dilation of your final moments. the prolonged panic and psychosis in that situation.

my other fears have been talked about in this thread already. Failing and having to live with even more disability because of it.

also, having trid to slit my wrists a number of times, I worry about hesitating once I've gotten down to the point of no return. As I'm sure some of you are aware, there's a lot of tissue between your skin and your arteries. There's a lot you can fuck off in the attempt. and what if you change your mind when you get there? What if you're sitting there in the bathtub bleeding out and you don't want it anymore? What then?

I'm scared of the symptoms of SN- racing heart beat, shortness of breath. I'm afraid of throwing up and not being able to drink the second glass- especially if I pass out and then throw up. I'm frightened of it failing and being in a worse condition as a result.

Just in general I would fear a suicide method failing, just leading to way more suffering as a result, that is what terrifies me and it disgusts me how we cannot leave in peace in a guaranteed way, what has kept me trapped here is how a reliable suicide is purposely made so inacessible in this dreadful world.

Since jumping isnt an option in my area, OD with clomethiazinole, benzos and alcohol would be my method.

My fear is staying awake and you cant breathe. Then, when you can move your body, you have permanent brain damage and are a vegtable, just kept alive because of what ever reasons society wants us to suffer anyway

I really want to do the nitrogen method but I still live with others and it's expensive and it's be too obvious. I really wanna just bash my head against the wall until I die of some kind of brain bleed
