Hi guys, in my next attempt to die via a nitrogen exit bag: I intend to restrain myself in this chair:
I heard that one has to restrain themself when using the nitrogen hypoxia method. This makes sense because the only reason my last attempt was unsuccessful, was because I laid in my bed, with no restraints, while using the bag. Subsequently, I fell out of my bed, had a bloody injury due to the fall, and since movement/crawling was difficult: I decided to go to a hospital.

Seems like the risk of spontaneously falling out of that one is a lot lower than a bed.

If you're worried about wrists.

Vizzy had some straps that got tighter when pulled but I don't know what the name of them is.

GasMonkey just had some straps I believe that were just on the chair. Just enough to prevent falling off really but not intentionally removing your hand. You can probably search Amazon for Velcro straps or Cinch straps.

I was considering heavy blankets that I put my arms under so they can't move that much but I'm not locked in.

I'm using a similar chair. I'm just going to use 3 ratchet straps, one around my ankles, waist, and chest (not tight tho.) I also have these elastic bands that I can, with difficulty, squeeze my hands into after putting the bag over. I also have the tank strapped so it doesnt fall. I'd also make sure the chair itself can't fall over. All that being said, I think it's overkill (pun intended.) It's supposed to be a completly still way to ctb. I'm just being safe than sorry. 3557

Very nice. I'd recline it back a bit to prevent slumping over after loss of consciousness.
