What makes you happy?

No clue. I've only looked for means of instant gratification, and I've gotten deathly bored of them. The days leading up to my ride on the golden escalator are looking awfully dull.

The girl I love. She wants nothing to do with me so I'm here. But nothing and no one in life has ever made me happy at all. She made me so insanely happy. The only happiness I ever had was maximum happiness. I'll never be that happy again so what's the point. Now nothing else can even make me a little happy. She was my soulmate, unfortunately I wans't hers.

Nothing. Nothing elicits a happy response from me anymore. Haven't been happy in roughly a year. Just even small things that used to make me happy are all gone, like the sun was blotted out a while ago. Having a cup of iced tea, petting my dog, seeing a meme, looking at my maple tree- nothing. Doesn't do it anymore. That's how I know the time may be coming

Sources of joy:

-The feeling of attraction. This has probably been the best I've ever felt, when deeply smitten. It's like a drug
-Eating
-Feeling and being healthy, although currently I'm not very healthy
-Being young (sadly it's not to last)
-Games
-Sleeping, as it offers an escape from this reality, sadly it's only temporary
-Having money (I don't)
-Friends (have none atm but certainly enjoyed good interactions in the past)
-Science, as it offers hope for progress, to reduce suffering in the world

Spending time with my SO and being around animals is probably what consistently makes me happy. I've started playing Taiko no Tatsujin and that's been fun, even though I'm awful at it. Animal Crossing brought joy until I demolished most of my island and I've kept it a wasteland for months because I can't get motivated to landscape lol

i dont even know what being happy feels like. but a few things would give me a good evening:

1. lots of good weed
2. lots of good food (chinese my favourite. also like sandwiches, pizza, and milkshakes)
3. lots of good movies

enjoying these things dont make me happy, it gives me an escape from this shitty world. the weed and movie allows me to immerse myself in another world where i mentally roleplay into the characters of the movie.

Art, various kinds. I like both traditional, like graphite and colored pencils, and oddly enough, painting rocks. Also needlework is interesting because you can make some awesome characters, like dragons, out of nothing more than poking wool with a needle.
In digital art, procreate and clip studio paint are my favorite programs.
That's one of my regrets in college, I wish I had got an worthless but enjoyable degree in art.
