I just want to avoid humans as much as possible and thats not me being edgy i made a thread on why.

basically
I have ptsd , anxiety , confidence issues , body dismorphia , dont trust other humans etc.

So i want to work from home , I want to leave my house as less as possible.

i know its not healthy but its actually whats best for me.

what jobs can i work from home? i dont mind learning any field as i have free time.

i dont mind if i have to communicate with people via email, text, calls etc.

what are your career suggestions?

Coding. I know two people working from home doing that. But it can take a few years to get good at.

i actually tried learning Web Dev a few days, i did well with HTML And CSS and Gave up already after trying Javascript .

Too hard and confusing, it was like a whole other langauge and the tutorials online were like idk expecting us to already know some stuff the way they teach they assume we know all the terms and functions but maybe its just not for me, its just confusing to me.

Check out my 1st comment in this thread: https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/ive-never-felt-more-incompetent.91091/#post-1614109 search results rating is a chill af job, idk about for life but I had that job for 2yrs and it was the best job I've ever had and will likely ever have. Remote data entry is a great idea for people who don't wanna deal with the usual bs jobs involve

Yes, coding. Try Codecademy - it's excellent.

I used to edit videos for Youtube. People would send me their footage and explain what kind of video they want. But I already had video editing skills. Some clients can be very picky and exhausting though.
I also managed online stores for other people. I didn't need to sell anything, I just needed to make their stores appealing and promote them. When they sold something, I got more money from each sale. At one point I even opened my own store and was selling my handmade jewelry.
I tried Forex currency trading as well, but that requires a lot of learning and was too much for me.

As others have said, coding is a good one. I've heard Udemy has a very good Java course but can't say for sure myself.

Also, a lot of telemarketing and customer service jobs are now being done remotely, at least where I am, but I'm not sure if it'll be permanently like that and it is NOT a stress free job so probably wouldn't recommend but figured I'd mention it in case you do want to pursue other options. Data Entry or Accounting stuff might be alright as well. Hope you find something!

They do other countries as well, I'm UK based, you'd just have to check on the site if they've any openings in your region.

interesting, what skills does one need for this? what tools did you use?
Is it possible to get a job only knowing Java?

I think that covid 19 came to change the paradigm of traditional work and not only It people started to work from home all the time, but other jobs that are compatible with that. For example, people working in banks, in marketing, even lawyers, etc etc. It is worth researching in other areas.

Art? I'm currently trying to start a hustle doing abstract art to see how much I can get.

Dude, people are selling child-like drawings for thousands upon thousands of dollars.

Easy money if you can get someone interested in your work.

If you stick with it you can learn it, easily. I'm a programmer and it took me a lot longer than normal to 'get' it but when it clicks you'll know. I even got a 4 year degree but you don't need that. They just want to see that you can think. I don't think it's nearly as difficult as, say, Chemistry or something like that.

How about Phone Sex Operator? Could be rewarding. :blarg:

How To Become A Phone Sex Operator
but why male models?
Sure, why not.
Depends on what you're interested in.
If it's web development, Codecademy has an excellent front-end career path 🙂
thanks i will look into it

LMAOOOO this is literally me. I just wanna isolate myself and stay away from humans until I can ctb. Humans literally ruin everything and from the state of the world, every outside job is toxic and discriminatory. I've been trying to find working from home jobs too.

I work in finance/tax and haven't worked in office in over a year. I will never work in office again, it's going to be work from home or unemployment for me. There's quite a few remote customer service jobs. That's people heavy though. I'd rather deal with people where I can mute my mic and have my panic attacks between calls.

I keep getting these articles recommended to me by my browser that says stuff like "Why working from home isn't all that it's cracked up to be" and stuff like that, and I'm starting to feel like it's a calculated effort or something but then again I didn't read the article so that's my fault.

Those articles are annoying. No traffic, I hang out with my dogs on lunch, I don't need to spend money or worry as much about appearance for corporate jobs, when I clock out I'm instantly back at my home life. It's literal employment heaven. If customers give me a hard time I wrap my weighted blanket around myself and chill. It'a perfect for someone with ptsd or anxiety and stimulating environments are harmful.

I think it's calculated too. I'm not sure why they're pushing it though. I guess we're better slaves in person.
