What is using carbon dioxide (co2) like?

I know carbon monoxide gives you a painless death but I was wondering about carbon dioxide? Apparently, the body thinks it's suffocating so it's pretty painful but apparently, it triggers the release of DMT in the brain which is cool.

There is a 1kg tank of CO2 gas in my apartment complex which I tried to use to get high but it was SO LOUD. Louder than the washing machine.

Lungs are very senditive to CO2 levels so I don't think it would be pleasant at all. Like when you don't breathe and your lungs are filled with CO2.

I think too much CO2 makes you suffocate.

It's going to be painful as hell. It's the same feeling as holding your breath until you die. Your body does not breathe out to take oxygen, it breathers out to let go of the CO2 in the lungs. Look up videos of cows getting slaughtered using CO2 and tell me if that looks peaceful.

I was about to say the same thing. Hold your breath for as long as you can without breathing out and you will feel a CO2 build up.
Methods using gas are successful because they don't allow the creation of CO2.
