Your genetics, your family, your country of birth...etc? What in your opinion makes life grossly unfair?

My genetics xAll of the above.
Wish we could end our suffering but that seems eternal as fuck. How little control we have. You don't get to pick your appearance, health, intelligence level, personality, and many life experiences are beyond our control on top of that.
This is the main reason I want to ctb, the most unfair thing about life is that karma doesn't seem to actually exist and everything is unpredictable and terrifying no matter what you do to avoid it or try to be a good personGood people go through situations they don't deserve to be in and bad people watch them and enjoy their cake.
Very nicely written. The most unfair thing about life is that it is not unfair or fair: it just is. Life is not sitting around, watching us, and rewarding us based on our mental visions, imaginings, moral intent, heartfelt desires, deepest prayers, fervent wishes, or any other mental/emotional state or action. It's not a conscious living thing, and therefore has no knowledge of our wants, desires, and feelings. Life is just neutral time and matter, responding only to our words and deeds in accordance with certain scientific laws.
It doesn't matter how much we've suffered, or how much work we've done. We get what we desire due to our words and deeds matching the right circumstances. That's it.
In other words, karma is a lie.
This is unfair because it means no matter how much we suffer, that suffering - in and of itself - does nothing to move us closer toward a solution to our suffering, therefore that suffering is objectively completely meaningless.
To life, words and deeds matter. Nothing else - and certainly not emotions.
Life doesn't care how long you've suffered over something. If getting that something is not scientifically possible as a result of your words and deeds fitting in with the current circumstances of time and space in some particular way, you aren't getting it - no matter how badly you want it, how much you've suffered from not getting it, or how many times you've tried and failed to get it.
Yes. This is something I wish to tell every young person who, like me, wanted to "follow their dreams and passions" without worrying about money. So I did. And what happened? The fact that money determines your entire life
