what is the most effective way to ctb?

i have made several plans, and even a few attempts and all have been unsuccessful >_< alot of the problem would be my SI or backing out at the last minute. I was unsure but i think i am finally ready now and I just need a simple way that is easy to prepare for, and that won't totally scar my family. Honestly, if possible I'm looking for a way that could seem accidental and not suicide. I don't care too much about the pain, I just want something easy and where the intentions are not too obvious.

There is a suicide resource complination section on here with information about methods, deciding on any potential method depends on the individual and what they can access. At least to me suicide really isn't straightforward though, if there actually was a very easy method I would be long gone but anyway I hope that you eventually find what you search for.

jumping is a method that fits those requirements, no materials needed and it isn't necessarily easy to accomplish
(I'm not recommending this method, don't do it if you don't want)

You could write a note saying your running away. (Could make up you found someone you love or something) and then after writing the note travel far away and ctb somewhere no one will know you.

You could use any ctb method you want. I personally want to do jumping. But I also love music so I want to listen to my playlist before i die. Ima wait like 6 years before I ctb. I'm thinking I might get a Vr of falling and get some illegal substances to ctb while having the vr of falling on and listening to music. Then it would seem like im falling but I would have enough time to listen to my music.

I would also say jumping from a very great height would give as certain a death as you can get. I couldn't handle the terror on the way down though.

There's no "easy" way, but there are options out there for a quick and painless death. Making it look like an accident is not so simple. Unless you have someone else's help, or you choose a method is not particularly easy or peaceful (ie. wandering into the wilderness with nothing, jumping in front of a car, having an "unfortunate" skydiving accident, etc.) it'll be tough to make it look accidental. I've thought a lot about this and it's really unfortunate that there aren't better ways to make it look unintentional. Jumping can be made to look like an accident (sometimes people do fall off cliffs and high towers/ buildings while hanging out up there). I'd say if you want peaceful, sn and inert gas are your best bet, but they do require some planning and gathering of materials. Anyways, I hope some of this helped

I think, drowning is the best accidental-like method among highly available ones. It's 100% lethal if you don't give up on it and you don't let others to rescue yourself.

Jumping could work, but there isn't really any high places in my area I could get too that would be lethal enough
