I'm watching Ripper Street at the moment. It is a UK crime series set in Whitechapel shortly after the Ripper killings. Love it so far. What are you guys watching or have watched recently?

The last show that I finished was Muppets Now. It's just okay.

I've been marathoning the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies because why the hell not. I just finished the first Avengers and I'm going to go in order of release date from there.

I can burn through binge sessions pretty quickly, gimme no more than two weeks. A few months ago I even watched the entirety of The Simpsons in 30 days. At 31 seasons, I was literally watching a season per day. :ahhha:

I'm Thinking of Ending Things on Netflix has been staying with me for days. For me, it was all about someone looking at his life and realizing he could never have the life he longed for. It hit me like a truck, I haven't related that much to a movie since The Hours.

this piqued my interest so I watched the trailer; it certainly looks interesting!
The first half of it portrayed the isolation I sometimes feel even when other people are around so accurately:nomouth:

I watched Monsters Inc a week ago. When Sulley roared in front of Boo and scared her it reminded me of my dad/childhood. Uh, other than that, the movie was good. The humor and timing was just spot on.

I finally got around to watching The Hateful Eight. Was a great slow burn of movie. I'd advise against eating while watching tho. Learn from my mistake lol Its my fault anyway, it is a Tarantino movie :ahhha:

Princess Mononoke by studio Ghibli. Highly recommend it if you like animation along with plenty of other films also made by Ghibli.

After I finish the MCU movies (I'm already on Ant Man & the Wasp right now), I'm gonna look forward to seeing Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous on Netflix this Friday even that looks like more of a show targeted just for kids. I also heard Dark is a really good series on Netflix too so I might watch that after.

I'm watching Code Geass and Modern Family. Those two could not be more different lol but both are fun. I watch Modern Family when I want something light, then when I get bored I watch the other one

Oh, Dark is fantastic! Highly recommended, even though I wasn't that happy about season 3.

The BBC series with Benedict Cumberbatch?

I just started Raised by Wolves recently to see what the hype was about. It's directed by Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Alien, and a multitude of other sci-fi films). It tackles religion vs atheism with a unique sci-fi twist. Would recommend if you're into that sort of thing.

Just finished seeing Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous which is an 8-episode Original CGI animated series by Dreamworks meant to take place during the Jurassic World movie (the one that came out in 2015). Each episode is only like 20 minutes so it took me only three hours to watch it.

I give it an 8/10. It's definitely meant for kids, but older ones who are no younger than 10. In case you were wondering, it's rated TV-PG in the US. It does have some tense moments and people do die (Offscreen though) considering this is a Jurassic Park property. It's canon too which is also nice. The animation for the human characters is standard for Dreamworks TV shows but the dinosaurs themselves look as real as if they were lifted straight from the actual movies. I wouldn't be surprised if they just copy and pasted the CGI used in those movies and brought it here. There are plenty of great close up shots of the dinosaurs so that's cool though their hyper realism might be jarring compared to the more cartoony looking people. I also liked the characters even though some of them I did not like at first. The show does a good job of focusing and developing on them and there's even a mystery element to it that hopefully will tie into the next Jurassic World movie.
