I plan on burning 5lb of kingsfords original briquettes in my vehicle. Is this a good brand? has there been documented successful ctb with this brand and type? Is there a different brand recommended? Should I use briquettes or lump charcoal? A lot of the info I find on here seems to be mixed

I think any will do it.

But i would not recommend to do in a car. Some sparks from charcoal could make your car on fire in few minutes and I dont believe you want to die burning, that's a terrible way to go.

I really feel bad for telling you this story but I read in a chinese forum, a lot of people there was struggling with life, like... really hard, the easiest way to CTB is charcoal in a closed enviornment. Most there, have porcelain floor so there is no risk in fire. A lot of accidents happens here in my country, a family that just want to warm died using their grill inside their house with everything closed.

One time i was decided to do this, i couldnt buy it at my local market. I was very depressed and just walked away. I could hear in my mind, my deceased father saying to me to not do this.

Think a little more, sometimes we need a break, change job, give yourself a little time. You could vent here... believe me.... it helps a little. Sometimes people can give their opinion and a good advice, well... it's always better two heads thinking than one.
