What is the chance of me getting in a relationship living with my mom?

Please be honest. I'm 25 will be 26 in a few days and would like to know what women think here. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with my mom. Am I really the lowest on the totem pole living with her? I have a job but I'm just trying to make some money right now until I move. I'm really lonely and I just know that most women find that really unattractive at my age. But I know other guys who live at home and get girls and get laid.

I'd say it makes (honest) online dating very hard, but IRL social circle stuff could still work.

I lived with my mom for a year when I was 22 to 23. I had no problem with bringing girls there. They either like you or they don't. This was before the social media generation and online dating. I met all these girls while I worked at a restaurant or going out to bars with those same coworkers.

Depends on the girl but it also depends on why you're still living with your mom. Many girls might be turned off if there's no proof you'll ever move out in the foreseeable future whereas other girls might understand that eventually you'll be able to live on your own. It could also depend on how well you or even the girl gets along with your mom. If she likes your mom then maybe she wouldn't even care that you still live with her…

To answer, more people than ever are living with their parents now due to cost of living. I think there's a higher chance of you subconsiously sabotaging potential relationships because you thinks it's an issue.

@Spacedoutfailure_ part of it will depend on how you look. If you're hot, you won't have a problem. Don't forget, there's a lot more to dating than just the apartment - you need a car, decent clothes, money to go out, and a good personality and sense of humor.

Respect for working to get your own place. Even if you have to get a studio - that will be world better than living in a one-bedroom with your mom.
