What is the best advice/tip you've gotten here? Let's learn from each other's mistakes/tips.

Best advice for me is probably not telling anyone my ctb plans. The whole fallout isn't worth it UNLESS it's a cry for help.

I have learned about the SN method.

I would think many other users have learned something too.

I have learned that the taste of N is worth trying to mask in some way.

I learned that most people here have 0-1 prior attempts.

I learned that partnerships sound much better than they actually are to organize.

Also, my views on Euthanasia have changed as a result of reading some interesting debates here. (More progressive now)

I found this site trying to find more information on the SN method other than what was written in the 2018 print edition of the PPH
I learned that if you are young, strong and healthy that the SN method might not be as peaceful and reliable as the PPH says. 7 & 7
First the PPH says vomiting is unlikely which is totally wrong and basically the worse thing that could happen during an SN attempt. The PPH first said that 10 grams would be enough then changed it to 15 grams. The PPH also said to use Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda) then changed that to Cimetidine (Tagamet) The one and only case study in the PPH of a SN suicide is of someone who was probably very old, very weak, and terminally ill who they say weighed 46 Kg which is only 101 lbs. ! I basically learned that if you attempt this method you definitely need the right anti e's you probably want to up the dosage, take some sleeping pills and if it was me drink a half a bottle of Imodium ad to reduce stomach pain. the active ingredient in Imodium ad is Loperamide https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loperamide. Loperamide is also an opiate similar to morphine but not as powerful. people have actually died from Imodium ad overdose. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4796148/Father-27-died-accidental-overdose-Imodium.html

So far the only OTC anti e with a dopamine antagonist I have been able to find here in America is
The less drowsy version of "Dramamine" which has the active ingredient "Meclizine"

If you take all 12 that come in a small tube it might do the same job as something prescription ?

As far as masking the taste and aftertaste of N the member "Luke" when he was with us recommended chloraseptic spray to numb your tongue and throat a little.
I also think that using a straw to drink the stuff would lessen the amount of N that makes contact with your taste buds.
As far as aftertaste goes I would suck on a popsicle or a fudgsicle right after I drank the stuff.

Loperamide is very powerful, like fentanyl, but is immediately hurled off the brain by P-glycoprotein. Do you think take a p-gp inhibitor like quinidine loperamide can become psychoactive? If it's possible, is possible to die from a OD.

Attempting suicide on impolse has a high chance of failure.

Therefore, it's important to plan your attempt properly..weight out the methods you can attempt counting in your finacial means, location etc.
Choose the best method, and only attempt when you are absolutely ready to meet death.

hands down the best advice I've received was how to deal a dilemma I was facing. I need to make my death look accidental so as to spare my daughter the trauma of her knowing my death was intentional but this prevents me from writing her a note to assure her how much I loved her, etc. It was suggested that I start writing a journal in whichI put down all these thoughts about her so that when I'm gone the journal could become her property and she could read all that I want her to know about how much she meant to me etc. SO that's exactly what I'm doing.
