In most communities, 'SI' is short for suicidal ideation. Some people here still use it that way. In this forum, 'SI' is survival instinct, the feeling you get when you're about to kill yourself that prevents you from doing it.

Since someone opened this subject about the survival instinct. I might as well ask this here: besides benzodiazepines, are there any better stronger medications to dull out the SI?Similar threads
