Based on my very real and 100% accurate calculations, you get to play New Game+ with permanent bonuses that keep stacking life after life.

It's not that this is an uninteresting question, it's just that this has been posted many times before. I would suggest searching through old threads

When it comes to me, if you're at least a fairly good person, you'll end up in Heaven and never suffer again.

I believe in Heaven or Hell, or possibly a middle point where you have a chance to redeem yourself. Either way, I like to hope that God will open everyone with open arms, regardless of life lived, or way of ctb.

Biologically, these 5 processes:

1. Immediate Biological Changes (Within Minutes)
  • Cessation of Heartbeat and Breathing: The heart stops pumping blood, and breathing ceases, cutting off the supply of oxygen to tissues and organs.
  • Cellular Death: Without oxygen, cells begin to die through a process called necrosis. Brain cells, which are highly sensitive to oxygen deprivation, begin to die within minutes.
2. Early Post-Mortem Changes (Minutes to Hours)
  • Pallor Mortis: The skin begins to pale (pallor mortis) due to the lack of blood circulation.
  • Algor Mortis: The body starts to cool down (algor mortis) as it loses heat to the environment. This cooling continues until the body reaches ambient temperature.
  • Rigor Mortis: Muscle cells lose their supply of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), causing muscles to stiffen, a condition known as rigor mortis. This begins 2-6 hours after death and can last up to 48 hours.
  • Livor Mortis: Blood begins to settle in the lower parts of the body due to gravity, causing a purplish-red discoloration of the skin (livor mortis). This can be observed within 20-30 minutes after death and becomes fixed in a few hours.
3. Intermediate Post-Mortem Changes (Hours to Days)
  • Decomposition Begins: The body's cells start to break down due to the action of enzymes, a process called autolysis. The gut bacteria begin to proliferate, aiding in the decomposition of tissues.
  • Putrefaction: As bacteria break down tissue, gases are produced, leading to bloating, discoloration, and the release of foul odors. This process usually becomes noticeable within 24-72 hours.
4. Advanced Decomposition (Days to Weeks)
  • Continued Putrefaction: The body continues to decompose, with soft tissues breaking down further. Insects and microorganisms may accelerate this process.
  • Skeletonization: Over time, the soft tissues may completely break down, leaving behind bones. This process can take several weeks to years, depending on environmental conditions.
5. Final Stage: Skeletonization and Diagenesis
  • Diagenesis: The bones themselves begin to break down due to chemical processes, a stage known as diagenesis. This process can take decades or longer, leading to the eventual return of the body's elements to the environment.
When a person dies, the processes occurring in the body can be examined not just biologically but also chemically, at the atomic, and even subatomic levels. Here's a breakdown of what happens in these realms:

1. Chemical Changes After Death
  • Cessation of Metabolic Processes: The death of cells means that metabolic reactions stop. This includes the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is essential for energy transfer within cells. Without ATP, cells cannot maintain their ion gradients, leading to the breakdown of cellular structures.
  • Lactic Acid Build-Up: As oxygen supply ceases, anaerobic respiration may briefly occur in some cells, leading to the accumulation of lactic acid. This can lower the pH within cells, contributing to cellular breakdown.
  • Lipid Breakdown: Enzymes begin to break down cell membranes, including the phospholipid bilayer. This leads to the release of fatty acids and other lipid breakdown products, contributing to the process of autolysis (self-digestion).
  • Protein Denaturation: Without ATP, proteins lose their structure (denature) and start to coagulate, contributing to rigor mortis. The breakdown of proteins also releases amino acids and other nitrogenous compounds.
  • Carbohydrate and Nucleic Acid Breakdown: Glycogen stores are depleted, and nucleic acids like DNA and RNA begin to degrade. Enzymes called nucleases break down DNA into smaller fragments, eventually leading to the release of nucleotides and base pairs.
2. Atomic Level Changes
  • Bond Disruption: The chemical bonds that hold molecules together, including covalent and ionic bonds, begin to break down due to the lack of energy (ATP) and changes in pH. This leads to the disintegration of complex molecules into simpler ones.
  • Release of Ions: As cellular structures break down, ions such as potassium, calcium, and sodium are released from their controlled environments (like inside cells or organelles) and spread throughout the body fluids, contributing to further chemical changes.
3. Subatomic Level Changes
  • Stability of Atoms: At the subatomic level, the atoms themselves (composed of protons, neutrons, and electrons) remain stable for the most part. The processes of decomposition do not typically affect the structure of atoms directly.
  • Electron Redistribution: Chemical bonds involve the sharing or transfer of electrons between atoms. As bonds break during decomposition, electrons are redistributed, but they remain within the atoms or form new bonds with other atoms.
  • No Change to Nuclei: The nuclei of atoms (containing protons and neutrons) remain largely unaffected by death. Nuclear reactions do not typically occur in biological systems under normal conditions, so the atomic nuclei remain stable and unchanged.
4. Long-Term Changes
  • Decay and Atom Recycling: Over time, the atoms that make up the body's molecules are released into the environment through decomposition. These atoms can be recycled into new forms of matter, such as soil, air, and eventually new life.
  • Isotopic Changes: Certain isotopes within the body, such as carbon-14, will continue to decay over time. Carbon-14, for example, undergoes radioactive decay with a half-life of about 5,730 years, which is a process used in radiocarbon dating.
5. Environmental Interaction
  • Interaction with the Environment: As the body decomposes, chemical reactions with environmental elements (like oxygen, water, and microorganisms) lead to further breakdown and transformation of the body's atoms and molecules. These processes are part of the natural cycle of matter, where elements from the body are returned to the earth and may eventually be incorporated into other living organisms.

In essence, death marks the cessation of life-sustaining chemical processes, leading to the breakdown of complex molecules into simpler ones. At the atomic and subatomic levels, the elements that made up the body remain intact and are eventually recycled into the environment, continuing the cycle of matter.

I redid the calculations and concluded that you're really bad at math. Sorry bro. It should have been obvious that you respawn as an unhinged goose and peck people for fun, just like how it is in the Untitled Goose Game (a real game btw). Who gave you your math degree? A seagull who stole the diploma from the poor lad who actually earned it, and then dropped it on your lap?

As an aside, it's kinda funny how some of us are trolling like this while someone actually gave a dead serious (no pun intended) answer.

It's impossible to know for certain since the dead can't tell us directly but I believe that after death is just permanent non existence since that's what science seems to agree with

Excuse me sis, but I'll have you know I already am a goose. A goose that can drive (debatable), with a math degree.

You never know if you're talking to a goose on the internet 😂👏

I mean HOOOONK.

I really enjoy and find comfort in the physicists explanation of death. Pretty easy to find online, but the tldr lazy man's version is essentially we know that matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed there for what we are will continue to live on forever just in different forms.

I will appear in a new world where I will establish an Empire and my bloody legions will conquer more universes.
All worlds will pray at the sight of my banners.

Or I will end up in hell where I will suffer for eternity, because why the fuck not.

Do you remember what your experience was before you were born? I imagine death would be like that, just the absence of any consciousness while your mortal body decomposes.

I've watched people die and they often report seeing 'the light' or angels or loved ones. I do believe your life may "flash before your eyes". Even so, I don't believe in heaven. I think it's much more likely that your dying brain tries to comfort you with visions of what makes you feel calmer as a stress response.

Like, hell. I don't know how many times the bright light was a lamp in the corner, or the "angel/loved one" was just me. Even if the person felt better later, I wouldn't correct them. Why would I? Let them have their magic. Having a near-death experience is hard enough.

Nothing, atleast in terms of science.

You cease to exist; there is no thought, there is no feeling, there is no senses, no pains, no worries, there is nothing.

You are just gone along with any bit of consciousness you have left, it honestly is a peaceful way to go if you really think about it.

Meanwhile, your remains get recycled back into the universe for some different purpose.

I think what we believe of afterlife is really important to our CTB. Most of people believe if we CTB, we would go to hell. Because life and death are out of our control. And of course the existence of heaven and hell itself is part of controlling people use over other people. I believe there is no wrong or right answer to this. For me, death is opposite of life. Death is simply non existence. Eternal darkness without mortal body.
