have any of you ever attempted but failed? im from the uk so what exactly does the medical team do? do you automatically get sectioned or do they send you home? also how do you feel after an attempt do you feel the need to try again or?

youre better off looking up specifics based on your location. most likely you would get sectioned, i did for weeks because i didnt lie that i suddenly wanted to live after being mistreated by staff at the hospital during recovery (lmao fucking bunch of shitbags). my best advice is dont fuck it up in the first place. do thorough research and be as careful as possible. have backups if you can. dont take unnecessary risks. thats why people are here, after all.

yeah, if you get shitty staff like i did, youll probably deeply regret failing to die. the inspiration porn didnt remotely apply to me. i simply became terrified of failing and ending up there again.

if you fail, do your best to pretend it was a cry for help and youre not really suicidal. tell them whatever they want to hear. they probably dont really give a fuck about you so it should work. hey, maybe you get help... i kind of did.

i dont see how they know those autoerotic asphyxiation people werent actually trying to die. maybe you can do that! foolproof either way!

generally dont get sectioned but i was under crisis for 3 yeara and did end up with long admissiona and i waa adolescent xx

Just lie to them and you won't get sectioned. Just tell them you regret doing it and you have no plans to try again. They only care about the legal side of things, not the people involved.
