I woke up feeling more awful than usual.
Don't have time to rest or sleep to escape from reality because I have tons of things to do today. I don't have anyone I can approach to talk about these feelings either.

Do anyone else also suddenly feel even more depressed than the usual days. How do you guys deal with it ?

I'm sorry you don't have the time to rest, sleep is one of the most important things to do when you're in any kind of crisis.

I tried that but it isn't helping much because of how my anxiety makes me worried about other things

It must nice to be able to cuddle up with your dog. I only have soft toys. I do have enough sleep at the night but I want more sleep to forget about things.

The only thing I can do is put on my earphones, play some music that speaks to me at the moment and hope that time will pass more quickly making either the feelings fade out, or the day end so I can go to sleep.

I know how hard it is when you're too busy for such things though, and I'm afraid I can't advise you anything but to focus on what you're doing and denying that something bad is going on right now. Maybe it will eventually work.

If you need to talk you can message me, I'm not a super helpful person, but at least I have some cat pics I can send to cheer you up.

Have a cigarette and try to sleep then have a cigarette and try to sleep again then go for a drive hoping I'd die in an accident then have a cigarette, call it a day and try to sleep again but I find myself aboard the flight of tinnitus so I can't sleep so I lay in bed thinking about my good past when things were pitch perfect and how my life has changed.

In reality I usually continue doing things that make me depressed, such as avoiding things, eating junk food, staying inside, constantly looking up all my various health issues.

If I try to make myself feel better... showering helps sometimes and talking to someone if they are there (usually not).

Classical music sometimes help, songs don't really help me.

I have never smoke before so I dont know if it really helps

Tend to fall sick after eating junk food so I am trying to avoid.
Showering does help actually but only when you are showering.

Hard to find people outside of this forum who willing to listen

If I have time I sleep escape, but I need pills for that so it only works short time. I like to take long walks too, but in a calm place like a forest, it clears my head without being to exhausting.

If I don't have time then benzos, binge eating and self arm if needed.

When I am down in hell nothing else works, I can't even listen to music or watch TV, everything seems stupid and senseless.

Normally, what I do if I feel more depressed than usual I listen to music, meditate, and/or go out for a walk to get my mind off of things.

Vape an ungodly amount of marijuana while watching Elena Medvedeva pre 2017 performances with no commentary and drinking black Twinnings Loose Leaf Earl Grey, then speed from my house to the ballet studio chugging kale shake and dance my butt off for an hour and a half.

Snack on baby carrots and hummus on the drive back. Then read French literature while eating to consolidate the experience of physical classical language into a social everyday context, so my vulgar decrepit self can at least manage a bit more gentility. Vape more marijuana.

I really don't give a fuck.

Listening to calm music, walking around the streets at 3 AM, drinking. Yeah, that's about where I am now. However, I'm running out of music now, I can't really leave my desk at work and walk around the streets now, and I didn't bring any alcohol to the office. The last few days have thus been particularly bad.

I go to the supermarket and buy tons of food, especially chocolate, cakes, creamy things.
I go back home and stuff my face until I feel better.
Then I take 20 mg of zolpidem and go to bed for 2-3 hours.

That was what I'd do back in college. I'm interning this semester, so alcohol has replaced food.
