Do you think governments will catch on and start to restrict this substance in the near future?

One of the main selling points for why Phillip Nitzche recommends sodium nitrite is because it's so easy to obtain. I imagine that will continue. But if it is highly successful for CTB, you do wonder if there will be some attempts to make it harder to obtain.

First they will have to prove that the Sodium Nitrite was actually used for a suicide
It can be misconstrued as a accidental poisoning if the autopsy is done well after the fact.

I thought I read SN poisoning is pretty simple to deduce based on the skin color.

Your skin pigmentation will change regardless if it is accidental or purposeful

Yes and Methemoglobinemia can be from multiple causes- not just from SN.

I'd really like to attend one of Phillip N's talks about it. That would be a real bucket list tick for me

Sodium nitrite is used in curing meats and has in some cases been mistaken for common salt. So yes it can be injested by accident.

I still wonder if the rise in sales will cause a stir. There are a lot of different brands. I did buy some worrying that it might be banned..
