I really wouldn't recommend it as a suicide method. It would be incredibly painful and most snake venoms aren't nearly as deadly as the news make it out to be. Maybe if you live in Australia and don't have any other options ,but otherwise I think there a many suicide methods that are both much less painful and more lethal

I live in a state with multiple species of venomous snakes, and I cannot fathom using this as a method. Some of the symptoms of being envenomated by snakes in my state include:

Immediate:
  • numbness in the face or limbs
  • lightheadedness
  • weakness
  • nausea or vomiting
  • sweating
  • salivating
  • blurred vision
  • difficulty breathing
After some time:
  • Cardiovascular Shock: Extreme, rapid drop in blood pressure and rapid, weak pulse.
  • Respiratory Failure: Difficulty breathing due to swelling of the throat and mouth.
  • Systemic Hemorrhage: Uncontrollable internal bleeding and blood clotting disorders.
  • Neurological Effects: Paralysis, muscle twitching, and severe numbness.
  • Tissue Destruction: Severe swelling (edema) and tissue necrosis (death of tissue), which can lead to organ failure.
You would be beyond uncomfortable and in a lot of distress, plus it can take over a day to properly kill you.
