For those who wants to commit or are waiting to die. What do think happen when we die? For me. I want no existence at all. No hell or heaven. Just vanish into nothing at all. That's what's peaceful. What a reward to a life sentence it would be to simply vanish. We would just become heat energy that would dissipate throughout the cosmos to undetectable levels. All that we were would vanish into a magnificent calm. I am feeling rather good just thinking of it.

Nothing. I would love if there was a heaven where you could see family members.

I would love to become a poltergeist and annoy the people I dislike for eternity. I've always been a sucker for schadenfreude :pfff:

I agree. Ghost sounds pretty good too. Wouldn't mind being that. Just wandering around the earth sounds good.

The beauty of pure nothingness. Who would want to be conscious for the rest of eternity anyway?

Absolutely nothing. I don't really believe in hell or heaven, or an afterlife – and in all honesty, just being gone, unconcious until I'm not even a memory anymore, sounds calming to me.

@trouble I love characters from Undertale!
@Obito29 I can't say as I am not sure about this. Think it will be just non-existence, but would like to see some people in the afterlife.
Or the ideal version would be to wake up on the road and catch a coca cola lorry among the picturesque landscape.

I expected my body to stop functioning. What ever else happens i'm not sure. We are all a mix of chemical compounds. for the most part they break down. Although energy may be transferred into a different form.

OMG that strikes a cord in my heartless soul. :sunglasses:
Mine was just an objective opinion. Nice to see others think the same though. I still have no idea what happens after, except i won't be tap dancing anymore

Nothing we will most likely just seize to exist but I desperately hope that this is just bad dream and I will wake up as a happy child again.

I like some views on death from buddhism:

"The world is afflicted by death and decay. But the wise do not grieve, having realized the nature of the world."
"Good health is simply the slowest way a human being can die"
"This world is shrouded in darkness. Here, only a few can see their way free. These few birds escape from the net, and fly away to the heavens."

I find Buddhist and Toaism philosophy very comforting in certain ways. :sunglasses:

I can't say what will happen, but I will say what WILL NOT HAPPEN. Will not happen this void, theres no void or nothing, or non existence. We will continue to exists, be prepared for that.

Logically, there should be nothing. Recently, I've started doubting that things are as simple as they seem, though. We'll find out eventually, even if we survive our current ordeals.

Any proof of that?

The burden of proof is on the believer in God.

Plus, there have been several gods throughout history (Greek gods, Roman gods, Native American gods, Viking gods, Hindu gods) that Americans are atheistic towards. Some people are just atheistic towards one more God.

Do you contest that the laws of physics are logical? You're of course free to do so, but you'll have to present some pretty darn strong arguments to convince me.

I do appreciate the way you stated your response.
And yes the Gods do go by many names through out the cultures that adopt them.
Does this mean god is a fraud. As you stated that people are atheistic ( i'm sure it's more then Americans).

What is a GOD?

I expect nothing--the type of nothing people can't comprehend.

Only other thing that I could even imagine exist based on a few things in my life--it's still nothing, because virtually everyone would choose death to avoid the alternative.
