I miss Invader Zim, Dragonballz with Faulconer music, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hey Arnold, Rocket Power, Dexters Lab, Rocko's Modern Life, Animaniacs, Gargoyles, Pokemon, Batman Beyond, X-men Evolution, Static Shock, Captain Planet, Justice League, Samurai Jack

I've rewatched quite a few as an adult but it's not the same

These drawings were the only good part of my day at daycare because when I wasn't crying for my mom I was crying from being beaten up either by the students or by my father

My two go-to series were "Power Rangers" (Go, go Power Rangers!) and "Thundercats" (Thunder, thunder, thunder, thundercats! Hooooooo!) :smiling:

Digimon, that one with an elf (that small house elf or something with a fox), Pokemon. A lot of others too, I still love to watch cartoons sometimes, but those three came to my mind first.

There are so many of them but Nickelodeon was awesome. Ren and Stimpy, Rugrats, Hey Arnold and Rocko's Modern Life were the best.

Like Proust said, we don't really miss people, places or things of the past, but how we felt at the time, or who we were. This is why the same persons, or the same spot, cannot invoke what made us nostalgic again, and can sometimes even make us feel worse by the painful contrast.

I don't really remember being into series that much, but for a time I liked Malcolm in the Middle, for example. I'm sure I watched tons of cartoons as a kid and teen but can't remember shit. I do remember discovering a deliciously dark comic by the guy that created Invader Zim, you might like it. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.

Your first paragraph explains my problem well. Sometimes my mind regresses when watching an old show like pokemon. I think it's the music. So that's nice.

I loved so many cartoons growing up. When they air old christmas specials on Cartoon Network I get very depressed because I remember how happy I was watching those shows as a kid and I just wish I could go back to that, no matter how sad that sounds

Codename: kid next door, Chowder, The Powerpuff Girls, Courage, Johnny Bravo, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Flapjack, Dexter's Laboratory, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Scooby-Doo.

Kids Next Door almost had a reboot a few years ago called Galactic Kids Next Door. It gave me a reason to live for a while but now it feels like it'll never happen.

I don't read alot of comics, but what I do read are still in circulation. I remember 'boondocks' as one that was discontinued. Alot of controversy behind his.

I miss you, Weebster, not the cartoons. Heh heh.

Regardless, we never actually miss something FROM the past, but WHO we we were and the environment we were into at the time. It follows that we should try to be someone we enjoy and seek an environment that we can remember fondly.
