I love so many of those bands! Radiohead, The Microphones, Slowdive, Have a Nice Life, Duster, Elliott Smith, Joy Division/New Order, and The Cure! And I also saw you like Modest Mouse! You have excellent taste. I would love a full list!

As for me, my favorite bands (that aren't on your list) are Arctic Monkeys, Belle and Sebastian, Silver Jews, Beat Happening, The Beatles, The Replacements, The Jam, Pavement, Television, The National, The Strokes, The 1975, and The Clash.

I listen to a pretty wide selection of music. Just at the moment, I've been listening to a lot by the Magnetic Fields. "69 Love Songs" is pretty close to a perfect album, IMO. Every track is a little jewel. Other perennial favorites are the Ramones, the Decemberists, the Smiths, the Clash, and (seriously) Weird Al. The guy is silly as fuck, but he's brilliant and so are his musical accompanists.
