What type(s) of SKIES are your most memorable? What kind make you happy? Sad? Contempt?

I'm most at peace when sitting alone on an empty beach at sunset, watching the blue sky turn orange and scarlet and purple as the sun sets, the clouds streaked like swaths of paint.

White skies! They feel surreall. As if God had forgotten to paint the background of reality. I love the emptiness and I can't help but stare at them 'cause it's calming seeing nothing but white. They portrait sadness and emptiness but in a beautiful kind of way, more like melancholy or nostalgia. <3
