I'm reading the latest book in the Jamie Bond series by Gemma Halliday. Deadly Bond. I've been reading it for weeks now. (usually I finish a book in a couple of days) I haven't been reading as much over the last couple of weeks.

The next book I'll read will either be Pay Dirt by Sara Paretsky, or 24th Hour by James Patterson.

Rereading Elena Ferrante's Neapolitan Quartet, third volume, can't remember which one it is, maybe "Storia di chi resta e chi fugge".

I didn't. I don't watch television and always avoid films of novels I love, but that's just me: I'm very glad to hear that this was a good one. I think this must be my fourth reading of the Quartet, and I love her other novels too.

im reading yerma. it's a spanish play about a pagan woman unsatisfied with her orthodox life.
Its a short read but the plot is very interesting
my two favorite things! descartes and sci fi!!!!! this was a really good read if you're interested there's similar books like 1984, all tomorrows, and the handmaidens tale.

I've just ordered The Brother Karamazov and Notes from Underground. I have been reading lighter stuff lately but think it might be better to be reading more intense novels where my mind is less likely to drift into overthinking. I've got the beach at the end of the street, a beach chair and beach towel and for now the UK weather is doing well. It would be really nice to be able to read in the heat and not think for a bit. I still want to CTB but also being able to fill the time between now and then as painlessly as possible is really important.

Other than than I'm reading Jeffrey Archer novels and an autobiography that is really the exposé of a cult. My friend just sent me an Agatha Christie to read.

Notes from Underground is one of the best novels ever. You read Crime and Punishment?

It's called
Hello I want to die
Please fix me
It started off good
A bit eerie because her attempt to die by antifreeze was my attempt as well
So it felt like I was reading about me through someone else

Just curious, what is different about books that you cannot find in the internet articles?
I like short form information. Books are too long and my attention span is shit. I can't focus enough to get through a book unless it interests me. I browse a variety of different internet articles instead of reading books
