What am I doing wrong? (Partial)

I've tried partial suspension hanging a few times and I just get lightheaded, I don't pass out. I am using a necktie tied to the shower rail (it's very sturdy) and letting it take some of my weight. What am I doing wrong? I plan to try again today.

Not putting enough pressure on? Not got the tie in the right place? Subconsciously you don't want to do it?

Tried again. Nope. My breathing gets laboured and I feel lightheaded but that's it and I give up. Might try one more time tonight.

Yeah, I have. I guess I feel like I'm putting a lot of pressure on it but really not enough.

I'd be to scared to try in case I ended up with a stroke.

This is why I am using full suspension. Partial suspension does not seem to be that easy or a sure method. I want to make sure that SI won't be able to save me once I step off.
