Well, I'm leaving Soon

This community kept me sane when I was all by myself. Nowadays I'm back on my feet. But after long deliberation, I'm choosing to ctb.

Seeing the insanity of the world, plus feeling the pain of it every day, is too much for me. I know I have plenty of alternatives. I've explored many of them. In one sense I'm "giving up," but in another sense I'm ending my misery and leaving the world with my best advice. I do think we all have a right to die with dignity. I know that what's best is to keep fighting for the causes I care about, but that's a job for someone who doesn't live in constant pain. Hopefully I've created enough of those people already.

I'm not afraid of death, and I don't need wishful thinking to cope with it. I'm ready for my permanent slumber. Thankfully I live in a rural area where I can ctb peacefully without a chance of being "saved." I don't have a strict timeline, so I'll just go when I go. But it will probably be this week or next. I want to make the timing easier on the people I know. Just need to finish writing my last words.

Anyway, from what I've read, you're all the nicest people I could've met in my life. Wishing you the best.

Life is certainly cruel and we go through so much suffering that we do not deserve. I agree about the fact that we need a right to die. If this is what you want then I wish you the best.
